Along with the “Alpha” hour\/minute hands and indices filled with vintage Super-LumiNova,\nthe central “Baton” seconds hand is lacquered white to match the transferred markings. The subdials include a 30‑minute counter at 3 o’clock,\na 12‑hour counter at 6 o’clock\nand a small seconds dial at 9 o’clock. A vintage OMEGA logo is applied to the dial,\nas well as on the crown,\nwhile the caseback displays the famous Seahorse medallion\nand the engravings\n“THE FIRST OMEGA IN SPACE” and “3 OCTOBER\n1962”. The watch is powered by the Caliber Co‑Axial Master Chronometer 3861,\nwhich is the most updated version of the Caliber 321 used by astronauts in space.
