Honoring OMEGA’s legacy in space exploration,
this Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon features a 44.25 mm polished and brushed black ceramic case. The polished bezel is also made of black ceramic and has a tachymeter scale in Liquidmetal™. Beneath the front sapphire crystal,
the polished ceramic dial includes a small seconds indicator at 9 o’clock,
a 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o’clock
and a date window at 6 o’clock. The hour and minute hands,
beveled indices and subdial hands
are all crafted in 18K white gold and filled with light green Super-LumiNova (green emission). The central chronograph hand is PVD-coated in white gold and features a red tip. Powered by OMEGA’s Calibre 9900 Co-Axial Master Chronometer automatic movement,
this bold watch is completed by a black nylon fabric strap with a black rubber lining,
a ceramic folding clasp
and titanium lugs with ceramic coating.
