As part of the Five Deeps Expedition in 2019,
the conceptual Ultra Deep made history by reaching the deepest point on Earth. After that world-record dive,
OMEGA launched a collection aimed at everyday adventurers. A watch tested in real ocean conditions during its development,
water resistant to 6

and compliant with ISO 6425:2018 for saturation diving watches,
as certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). This 45.5 mm model features a case and bracelet in robust O-MEGASTEEL and an extraordinary dial that pays tribute to the mysteries of the deep. Its pattern is an accurate representation of the floor of the Challenger Deep,
the deepest point of the Mariana Trench,
mapped by the Five Deeps team using almost a million sonar points. Its lacquered finish,
created by allowing an “ocean” of lacquer to flow across the dial,
delivers a beautiful sense of depth. The dial even has a playful side. Under ultraviolet light, the words
OMEGA WAS HERE
are revealed, noting the world-record dive of 10
935 meters (35
876 feet) and showing the Western, Central and Eastern pools. The caseback features a commemorative Seamaster logo laser-engraved with Poseidon holding a trident and two seahorses: OMEGA’s original 1956 design and the brand’s current emblem. Behind it sits the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8912.
