to celebrate 60 years of James Bond,
this 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M in Canopus Gold™ features a dial made from natural gray silicon. A tribute to the sands of 007’s Caribbean retreat. Surrounding the dial is a unidirectional rotating bezel set with pavé diamonds treated in shades of green and yellow,
with two diamonds at 12 o’clock. The iconic film opening sequence,
showing Bond’s silhouette and the rotating gun barrel,
is reproduced on the caseback,
under a sapphire decorated with microstructured metallization. The moiré-effect animation is synchronized with the rotation of the lollipop-shaped seconds hand. The watch is secured to the wrist by a mesh bracelet and clasp in 18K Canopus Gold™. Power comes from the caliber Co-axial Master Chronometer 8807 from OMEGA. A luxury version of the 8806
incorporated in the classic Seamaster Diver 300M models. The watch is presented in a mango wood presentation box with mother-of-pearl marquetry,
the “60 Years of Bond” logo and 1960s-inspired dots. The use of mango wood references the song “Underneath the Mango Tree” from the film “Dr. No” — the first James Bond film.
