In tribute to OMEGA’s legacy in space exploration,
this Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon features a 44.25 mm case in polished and brushed black ceramic. The polished bezel is also made of black ceramic and includes a tachymeter scale in Liquidmetal™. Beneath the front sapphire crystal,
the polished ceramic dial includes a small seconds indicator at 9 o’clock,
a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3 o’clock
and a date window at 6 o’clock. The hour and minute hands,
as well as the beveled indexes and subdial hands,
are all crafted in 18K white gold and filled with light green Super-LumiNova (green emission). The central chronograph hand is white gold–plated by PVD and features a red tip. Powered by OMEGA’s automatic caliber 9900 Co-Axial Master Chronometer,
this bold watch is completed by a black rubber strap with a lunar-surface pattern on the underside,
a ceramic folding clasp
and ceramic-coated titanium lugs.
