In tribute to OMEGA’s legacy in space exploration,
this Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Black Black” features a 44.25 mm case in black ceramic with polished and brushed finishes. The brushed bezel is also crafted from black ceramic and includes a laser-engraved tachymeter scale filled with black Grand Feu enamel. Beneath the front sapphire crystal,
the ceramic dial was laser-blasted and includes a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock,
a 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o’clock,
and a date window at 6 o’clock. All beveled hands and indices are blacked and filled with black Super-LumiNova (green emission). Visible through the caseback,
OMEGA’s self-winding Caliber 9900 Co-Axial Master Chronometer has received a special finish with the rotor,
main plate and bridges in matte black,
along with black lacquered engravings. The watch is paired with a black nylon fabric strap that includes a ceramic folding clasp and titanium ceramic-coated keepers.
